GNE is a startup news aggregator and a web magazine, which includes Politics, Business, Sports, Science & Tech, Health, Fashion and Life Hacks. GNE also provides a vehicle for burgeoning bloggers and writers to post their content as well a platform for polls, affiliate marketing and sponsored posts.

- UI, UX Design: There was a requirement for a bold, fun, bright approach, whilst displaying elements of brutalism. I created a prototype wireframe with the front page and some of the category pages having distinct, vivid look and feel.
- The theme was built on the new WordPress features known as ‘Block Based Themes’ or ‘Full Site Editing’ along with SASS and Javascript integration.
- The theme needed to be flexible and allow new features and elements.
- Site needed to be mobile responsive.
